Christmas in Okeechobee 2026 — Flagler Park Holiday Light Display
Every winter, downtown Okeechobee turns the four blocks of Flagler Park into one of the most charming free holiday light displays in South Central Florida. Christmas in Okeechobee lights the trees, gazebos and walkways along Park Street, and the whole thing is free to stroll, night after night, from Thanksgiving weekend through the end of the year.
It is a genuinely easy evening out: park once, walk the length of the display, duck into the shops and restaurants along Park Street, and take your photos under the live oaks. For snowbirds spending the season on Lake Okeechobee, it has become the unofficial start of the holidays.
What to Expect

- Tree lighting over Thanksgiving weekend, with the full display running from December 1
- Shop Small Saturday on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, with downtown merchant specials
