Okeechobee Cowtown Rodeo 2027 — PRCA ProRodeo

March 13, 2027 @ 7:30 pm - March 14, 2027 @ 9:30 pm
Tickets — see official site

Okeechobee County is cattle country — one of the largest cow-calf regions in Florida — and the Okeechobee Cowtown Rodeo is where that heritage goes on display. Hosted by the Okeechobee County Cattlemen’s Association, this historic outdoor rodeo brings professional cowboys and cowgirls to town for a weekend of sanctioned competition under the lights.

It runs the second weekend of March, alongside the Speckled Perch Festival and the Okeechobee County Fair, making it one of the best weekends of the year to be near Lake Okeechobee.

  • Tie-down roping, team roping and steer wrestling
  • Barrel racing
  • Mutton bustin’ and a calf scramble for the kids
